Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) Cut-off mark is typically based on various factors, including the competitiveness of the course, the number of available seats, the overall performance of applicants, and the specific requirements of the institution.

Generally, the cut-off mark is the minimum qualifying score or percentage set by an educational institution to determine an aspirant’s eligibility for admission into a particular course or program. 

The JAMB cut off mark for TASUED has been announced to the general public and aspirants that the institution’s minimum UTME cut off mark for 2023/24 is now set to 140 and above.

This means for any aspirants to be eligible to apply for Tai Solarin University of Education 2023/24 post-UTME academic session, he/she must have attained a minimum of 140 and above overall score in UTME and choose TASUED as First Choice option.

TASUED 2023/24 Post-UTME Screening Form

Tai Solarin University of Education hereby invites candidates who made TASUED their first-choice institution in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored 140 and above for screening exercise.

Direct Entry candidates with A level/OND/HND/NCE/JUPEB/IJMB qualifications who chose TASUED as first choice institution or sought change of institution to TASUED through JAMB and have obtained 2023 Direct Entry JAMB form are also eligible to register.

Eligible candidates will be required to pay a processing fee of N2,000.00 (Two thousand Naira only) through Remita Platform at any Commercial bank during the registration process.

The sale of the online Screening Form/Registration commences on Monday, 31st July, 2023 and closes on Friday, 15th September, 2023 .

PROCEDURE to Apply For TASUED Post-UTME Screening Form

The below is step-by-step guidelines on how to register for TASUED post-UTME form.

  1. Candidates should register online through the TASUED Admission portal
  2. Click on ‘Apply Now’ and select ‘UNDERGRADUATE(FULL TIME)
  3. On the next opening window, select your desired program(BA/B.Sc or B.Ed) then click ‘Apply Now
    NOTE: confirm the available courses under each program before clicking on Apply Now.
  4. Creat application account with your JAMB Registration Number, which will be used to confirm your names, scores, programme and passport from the JAMB CAPS.
  5. Proceed to payment of N2,000.00 for the screening exercise payable online with either Master card or VISA ATM card.
    (Please print out your receipt after payment)
  6. Candidates are required to fill and complete the online Registration Form by providing all the required information. It is MANDATORY for all applicants to use the University’s Online Result Verification System (ORVS) to submit and verify their ‘O’ level results.
  7. Print the Screening Slip containing your colour passport photograph and screening information. The printed slip will serve as candidate’s identification /admission card for the screening exercise.

Note that wrong/false information provided by any candidate shall render the registration invalid and such candidates shall be disqualified.

When will TASUED Commence the 2023 Screening

TASUED will commence their 2023/24 Screening exercise and shall be conducted for all UTME/DE candidates at the Main Campus of the University from Tuesday, 19th to Friday to 22nd September, 2023.

Candidates’ participation in the screening exercise is a mandatory requirement for admission into Tai Solarin University of Education.

Documents Needed for TASUED Screening

Candidates should prepare for the screening exercise and bring along the following:

  • Colour print-out of the online Screening Form
  • Original JAMB Examination Notification of Result Slip or Direct Entry Registration Slip.
  • Screening Slip and Receipt.

WARNING: ADHERE TO THE BELOW WARNING AND INFORMATION

Cell phones (GSM, CDMA, etc.) and other electronic devices are not allowed at the venue of the screening exercise.

Candidates are to arrive at the screening venue an hour before the commencement of the exercise.

The results of the screening exercise should be checked on the Admission portal twenty four hours (24 hrs) after the screening exercise.
