University of Ilorin Release JAMB & Post UTME Cut-Off Mark 2022/23 [Updated]

The JAMB cut off mark for University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has been announced to the general public and aspirants as the institution’s UTME cut off mark for 2022/23 is released for all courses.

University of Ilorin 2022/23 Post-UTME Cut-Off Mark

Qualifying for your course/department cut off mark is not enough to be assured admission into the Better by far UNILORIN as you will need to also make sure you pass your post UTME examination conducted by the institution.

However, the institution has not released any post UTME cut off marks for each of their course offered but a guideline on what to expect as admission will be based on aggregate. This aggregate is as follows:

  • UTME/DE score (50%)
  • Post-UTME screening score (30%)
  • Five (5) relevant O,level grades (20%).

When Will University of Ilorin Post-UTME form be released?

The University of Ilorin as at the moment has concluded the 2022/23 post-utme screening exercise while the 2023/24 session form is yet to be released by the institution.

Procedure To Apply for UNILORIN 2023/24 Post-UTME Screening Form/Exercise

  1. Important Instruction before registration:
    • All candidates shall upload their O’ Level and/or A’ Level results where applicable on the JAMB CAPS: Candidates who are awaiting results should so indicate by writing ‘AR’.
    • Change of Course: If required, this should be done on both the Unilorin and JAMB PORTALS for it to be valid.
    • Ensure that you have a personal, valid and active email address and phone number before commencing the registration process.
    • Please crosscheck all entries for correctness before final submission as wrong entries will automatically disqualify a candidate.
    • Candidates should note that it is possible for them to correct errors in their entries while the registration process is still on.
    • Candidates should print out their screening document and make sure that all information entered are correctly displayed. If not correctly displayed, candidates are advised to re-enter their information.

  2. Step-by-step Registration Procedure
    • Log on to the university official screening portal
    • Complete the displayed fields (e.g. JAMB Registration Number, Surname etc.).
    • Candidates should click on the Get Details button for UTME/DE information
    • Complete all necessary details as required on the displayed page (e.g. O’ level and/or A’ level grades or ‘AR’ for Awaiting results).
    • Click on make payment button to go to Remita platform to pay a registration fee of N2,000 only.
    • Upon successful payment, click on ‘admission login’ on the left hand side of the undergraduate portal and enter your JAMB Registration Number and Surname; and click ‘login
    • Click on ‘next step’ button to continue, and complete all necessary details;
    • Click ‘submit’ button when you are sure all information have been accurately provided.

      NOTE: Candidates who wish to upgrade from UTME to Direct Entry after the close of Post-UTME screening registration should check the link ‘upgrade UTME to DE’ which is available on the Unilorin web site Pre-Admission screening page.

  3. Direct Entry (DE) candidates
    • The step-by-step Registration Procedures in 2, (i – ix) above also applies to Direct Entry candidates.
    • Direct Entry candidates are required to select their highest academic qualification from the drop-down and click on ‘Save’. Candidates are expected to click ‘OK’ on the dialog box when concluded.
    • Thereafter click on ‘save’ when concluded.

Candidates are advised to carefully enter their results as any error will be deemed as deliberate falsification of results, which would lead to automatic disqualification at any stage of discovery.
