Elizade University (EU) is a private owned university established in 2013 and located in Ilara-Mokin, Ondo state, Nigeria. The university was founded by a Nigerian business magnate who is also the CEO of Elizade Motors Limited.

The university seeks to be a globally competitive institution, which produces entrepreneurial, innovative and ethical graduates. Elizade University has been consistent with its engagement of seasoned academics and professionals, who have continued to impart relevant knowledge in the students, using modern teaching and learning facilities provided by the University.

Brief history of Elizade University

Elizade University took off academic activities in January 2013 being its inaugural session with 64 students, 13 programmes and two faculties.

During the 2020/21 session, there was a rapid progress by the university as they’ve increased their programmes to twenty-five (25) fully accredited courses/program in five faculties (Faculties of Basic and Applied Sciences, Engineering, Humanities, Social and Management Sciences and Law).

The University has also mounted seven (7) additional undergraduate programmes which include (Nursing Science, Medical Laboratory Science, Political Science, Sociology, Architecture, Quantity Surveying and Estate Management).

While the National University Commission (NUC) has granted the university the approval to run fifteen (15) postgraduates programmes both at M.Sc. and Ph.D. levels.
